SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Three members of the Brewton-Parker Men’s Cross Country team got the opportunity to compete in the Men’s NAIA Division at the California International Marathon in Sacramento, Calif. on Sunday, Dec. 3.

The Barons competed in a field of 54 runners in the Male NAIA Division. DJ Christensen led the Barons with a time of 2:52:10 for a 36th-place finish. Christensen averaged a 6:34 mile pace for the marathon.

Gabriel Wrye had an average mile pace of 7:36 to finish the race in 50th-place with a time of 3:19:18. Eric Smith came across the line with a time of 3:55:48 for a 54th-place finish. Smith produced a 9:00 mile pace for the race. (Courtesy of BPC)
