Reid Randall

Mr. Reid Veazey Randall, age 69, of Vidalia, died Monday, September 25, 2023, at Memorial Health Meadows Hospital in Vidalia after an extended illness. He was a native of Toombs County, living all over the United States, traveling for work until moving back to Vidalia in 2007. After graduating from Lyons High School he joined the United States Navy, where he operated the radar, then later joined the Corps of Engineers as a marine electrician. Reid was a founding member of the Ohoopee Canoe Club and in his spare time he enjoyed canoeing, loved being a father, and spending time with his family and friends. He was especially proud of his service to our country in the United States Navy. He is preceded in death by his parents, David Randall and Edna Marchman Randall; and two brothers, Rusty Randall and Robert Randall.

His family includes two children, Brett Randall of Vidalia and Kayla Noble and husband Matt of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Mattie Noble and Sawyer Noble; and several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 in the afternoon Wednesday, September 27th in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 until just prior to the service.

Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home of Vidalia is in charge of arrangements.
