On Monday, the Toombs County High School competed in the Area 1-AA golf tournament at Circle Stone golf course in Adel, Georgia. The girls team placed 8th with a score of 237 led by freshman Sarah Ellis Walker. The boys team placed second with a score of 343. The Bulldogs were led by freshmen Vick Moore and Drew Woodruff, both with a score of 81. A second place finish qualifies the boys team for the state tournament held on May 22nd and 23rd in Waycross.
