Parents of students in the Vidalia City School System: It’s time for your voices to be heard!
Tammy McFadden, Federal Program Director of Vidalia City Schools, explains why parents should complete an online survey on how the school system is using federal money to benefit students.
“One of the things we like to do is gather information from parents,” McFadden said. “The best way to do that is through surveys. It’s a way to gather input from our stakeholders. We then use the data we receive from them to consider school improvements, learn how we can improve, hear what is working as well as what isn’t working according to our stakeholders.”
McFadden says the survey will take no more than 10 minutes to complete. Parents who have signed up to receive emails from the schools should receive a link to the survey. Parents can also receive text messages by opting into that format but she specifies that only parents who’ve agreed to that form of communication receive texts.
The parent survey is open now through April 10, and parents can complete one survey for each child in the household.
