The fourth suspect in the murder of Ricky Burkett in April of this year has finally been extradited to Toombs County to face charges. Jeremy Bell was booked into the Toombs County Detention Center on Monday, but had been in the custody of the Jacksonville, Florida, Sheriff’s Office since he was arrested on April 20 of this year.
Ricky Burkett was found deceased in the back of a residence on West Jenkins Street in Vidalia on April 5. No motive has been released in his murder.
Bell is charged with felony murder. In addition to Bell, also charged with felony murder in Burkett’s death were Megan Ann Osborne, who was arrested on April 12; and Emily Elizabeth Walker, who was taken into custody on April 13. The first arrest in the crime was on April 8 when Milbern McRae was arrested charged with tampering with evidence and a felony probation violation.
