May 6--At Vidalia Heritage Academy Mason Beacham signed his letter of intent for a scholarship to play baseball for the Brewton-Parker College Barons.

"I want to thank my parents and coaches for investing in me to get to this point in my life. I have wanted to play college baseball my entire life and I appreciate all that they have done for me. I chose BPC because they were the first school to offer me a scholarship. It is also close to home and my parents can come and watch me play." Beacham said.

"Mason is a great kid and a leader on the team and in the hallways. He is a hard worker and has been a blessing to coach. I am happy for him and his family for this great opportunity. He will fit in well at BPC." Coach Seth Sitzman said.

"He has worked hard to get here and has believed in himself throughout this whole process. Brewton-Parker is a solid christian school and we love that part of it and we are very proud of Mason" Marty Beacham stated.
