1 21 22 012022 WBB Recap vs BMC669

MOUNT VERNON, Ga. – Brewton-Parker Women’s Basketball action resumed on Thursday night with another SSAC matchup against Blue Mountain (Miss.) in Gillis Gym.

The Lady Barons (9-6, 3-4 SSAC) landed short against the Toppers (8-7, 2-4) with second-half misfortunes.

“Blue Mountain outplayed us as well as outcoached us,” Head Coach Steve Edwards said. “They deserve a lot of credit for the way they played tonight.

“We weren’t ready to play in the second half and that is on me,” Edwards added. “We need to bring consistent effort each night to win in our league. We will be better moving forward.”
