Mr. John E. Galbreath, Jr. age 40, of the Cedar Crossing Community, died Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Memorial Health in Savannah after a brief illness. He lived in Toombs, Montgomery, and Appling Counties most of his life, and was a 2000 graduate of Montgomery County High School. John worked at Kerrigan’s, Lowes, and Food Lion many years and was Baptist by faith. He enjoyed walking, dancing, spending time with his friends, and watching wrestling on TV. He is preceded in death by his mother, Judy Galbreath.
His family includes one daughter, Aaubrey Copeland of Lyons; father, John E. “Buddy” Galbreath, Sr. of the Sharpespur Community; one sister, Crystal Galbreath Wiseman and husband Christian of Vidalia; one brother, James E. Hester and wife Rachel of Baxley; fiancé, Janet L. Lee of Cedar Crossing; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be Friday, January 21st, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor BL Horne officiating. Burial will follow in the Galbreath Cemetery near Alston.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday afternoon from 1:00 until just prior to the service.
