Mr. John B. Herb, age 72, of Uvalda, died Monday, January 17, 2022, at Memorial Health in Savannah after an extended illness.  He was a native of lake Worth, Florida and lived there until moving to Uvalda in 2015.  He was a retired long-time truck driver, and was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam.  He is preceded in death by his father, Albert B. Herb; mother Lillie Mae Lee Witt; and stepfather, Monroe Witt; sister, Barbara Maddox; and a nephew, Joe Maddox.

His family includes two children, Angel Herb and Buddy Herb of Montana; and nieces and nephews, Norman Maddox and wife Tracie of Uvalda, Roy Maddox and wife Robin, Betty Jean Tharpe and husband Lodus, Sr., all of Mt. Vernon, and Frances Crowe of Warner Robins.

There will be no service.
