Mrs. Emily “Madge” Anderson, age 93, of Vidalia, died Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Treutlen County Health and Rehab after an extended illness. She was a native of Glenwood and a 1945 graduate of Glenwood High School. She was a graduate of G.A.B. and was a legal secretary for attorney’s David L. Mincey and Jack Kemp for fifteen years in Bibb and Houston Counties. She was a former member of the Glenwood United Methodist Church and a member of Jefferson Street Baptist Church in Dublin. She enjoyed writing poems and reading. She is preceded in death by her husband Edward Harold “Ed” Anderson; son, Anthony Edward Anderson; and parents, Malcolm Edward Morrison and Ida Mae Lovette Morrison.
Her family includes several nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be Sunday, January 2nd, at 2:00 p.m. in the Glenwood City Cemetery with Reverend Glenn Anderson officiating.
