BPC Bass Fish

MOUNT VERNON, Ga. -- The Brewton-Parker Bass Fishing program continues to move up the Bass Pro Shops School of the Years Standings presented by Abu Garcia.

The Barons are currently No. 63 in the standings with a total of 1,490 points over the course of three events completed this season.

Most recently, BPC gathered 530 points at the 2021 MLF Southeastern Tournament held at Chickamauga Lake in Tennessee back on October 22. A pair of BPC duos earned points while three other pairs struggled to record any weight. While competing at Chickamauga, Mary Goode and Nicholas Watson led the Barons with a 48th-place finish catching three fish for a total weight of six pounds and nine ounces.

Blake Stephenson and Corey Yaden gathered two fish for a four-pound bag to land at 90th in the field. The rest of the boats for Brewton-Parker were unable to record any catches for the tournament.

Earlier this season, Brewton-Parker earned 630 points at Lake Dardanelle at the AFTCO Collegiate Open in early October as well as 330 points at the Bass Pro Collegiate Series in Saginaw Bay back in June.
