Mrs. Kathleen Bautch Weeks, age 71 of Mt. Vernon, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 at Memorial Health Meadows Hospital in Vidalia, Georgia following a brief illness.
She was born on February 13, 1950 to the late Ronald and Bernice Bautch. She was a native of Wisconsin, living most of her life in Mt. Vernon, Georgia. She was a retired social worker and Catholic by faith.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Buford Weeks, and both of her parents.
Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Patrick (Kimberly) Weeks, and Michael (Tina) Weeks; four grandchildren, Amber Hughes, Megan Galbreath, Shawn Weeks, and Abigail Weeks; ten great-grandchildren; her dog, Bit Bit; and her squirrel, Petey.
The family received friends on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm in the chapel of Roberts – Stewart Funeral Home. Funeral services were held on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Roberts – Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Patrick officiating.
A private family interment will be held at a later date at Mt. Vernon City Cemetery.
