Mrs. Terrie Reynolds Swain, age 56, of the Cedar Crossing Community, died Friday, October 15, 2021, at her mother’s home after an extended illness. She was a native of Toombs County and was a 1984 graduate of Toombs Central School. She lived in Macon for twenty years and in Cedar Crossing most of her life. Terrie was a homemaker, Baptist by faith, and she enjoyed her family, children, and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Amber Higginbotham; and a brother, Mitch Reynolds.
Her family includes her husband, Tony Swain of Cedar Crossing; two children, Ashley Paez and husband Jorge of Winder, and Mark Higginbotham and wife Sarah of Gray; her mother, Beverly Braddock of Cedar Crossing; her father, James Reynolds of Vidalia; one sister, Deborah Farmer of Cedar Crossing; four grandchildren, Camila Paez, Trey Higginbotham, Grayson Higginbotham, and Isaac Paez; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Cedar Crossing Cemetery on Monday morning, October 18th, from 11:00 until just prior to a graveside service at 12:00 noon. Pastor Reece Mincey will officiate.
