Vincent R. Drummer Funeral home announces the death of Mr. Willie “Bro” Dixon age 71 of Mt. Vernon, GA whose entered Eternal Rest on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from Memorial Health Meadows Hospital in Vidalia, GA. Willie was born on September 4, 1950 to the parentage of the late Ethel and Willie Dixon.
Willie attended school in Dublin, GA. He was a member of Waymon Temple AME Church in Mount Vernon, GA (St. John AME Church) Willie worked at H. V. And T. G. Thompson Lumber company in Ailey, GA for several years.
Willie was preceded in death by his Mother Ethel Dixon, Father Willie Dixon, and a Sister Essie Dixon.
Willie leaves to cherish his memories four loving Children: India Tobler, Corey Brazell, Tonya Dixon all of Mt. Vernon, GA, and Sonya (Charles) Brown of Cobbtown, GA. Four Sisters: Ethel (Hebert) Ricks of Adrain, GA, Nora (Lawson) Cherry of Vidalia, GA, Lena Dixon, and Teresa Dixon both of Mt. Vernon, GA. Four Brothers: Joseph Dixon, Robert Dixon, David (Tee) Dixon all of Mt. Vernon, GA, and Bruce (Tammy) Dixon of Vidalia, GA. Eight Grandchildren: Kaleb Tobler, Alayja Nobles, Cornya Brazell, Corey Brazell, Jr., Katlyn Dixon, Achaia Dixon, Isiah Dixon, and T’rarius Dixon. One Great Grandchild Zy’mir Nobles, and other loving relatives.
Public Visitation will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 from 4PM until 6 PM at Vincent R Drummer Funeral Home in Vidalia, GA.
Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 10:00 AM from Live Oak Church Cemetery In Ailey, GA. Rev. Clarence Thomas, Sr. Will deliver the eulogy.
