Mrs. Monice G. McLeod, age 62 of Ailey, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at St. Joseph’s / Candler in Savannah following her battle with COVID.
She was born on November 15, 1958 in Fitzgerald, GA to the late William Donald and Geraldine Musselwhite Freeman. She was an administrative assistant at Affinis Hospice and attended First Assembly of God, Vidalia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; and her brother, Quincey Freeman.
Mrs. McLeod is survived by her loving husband, Randall McLeod; daughter, Wanda Gail Gregory; two step-sons, Brian and Christopher McLeod; two sisters, Von Pitts and Perian Freeman; one grandchild, Cami McLeod; and several special nieces and nephews; and numerous special friends, and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Roberts – Stewart Funeral Home, Vidalia Chapel.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 10:00am at Roberts – Stewart Funeral Home Chapel of Vidalia with Rev. Nathan Pittman and Rev. Buddy Crenshaw to officiate.
Visitation will also be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 2:00pm until 3:00pm at Arabi Cemetery in Arabi, GA. Graveside service and interment will follow at 3:00pm at the cemetery.
