July 26—Last Thursday morning at Vidalia High School Myesha Hall signed a letter of intent for a scholarship to run track for the Lady Bears and attend Truett-McConnell University in Cleveland, Ga. Myesha had an outstanding career at VHS, she was a member of the 2018 AA State Championship team as a freshman, holds the school record in the Triple-Jump and a 2019 State Champion in the long jump.
“I like the campus and their coaching staff at Truett-McConnell. I want to thank my family and friends, the VHS coaching staff for supporting me. I am excited to be going to Truett-McConnell.” Hall said.
“I am very proud of Myesha, she has had her sights set on this from the moment I started coaching her. She knew she wanted to go to the next level in track and field. Her work ethic and determination are right up there at the top. Myesha is a very diverse athlete and I can’t wait to see what she does in college.” VHS Coach Mandy Godbee said.
“I want to thank everybody at VHS and her mentors for helping her get to this point in her life. I thank God for her and I think she is going to do an awesome job at the next level.” Evelyn Hall said.
