The VHS Indians Track & Field team traveled to McDonough, Georgia for the Outback Invitational Saturday, April 17 Michael Madison (Above) was the only Champion from Vidalia as he won the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.01 and placed 2nd in the 100 with a time of 10.98.
“While neither times were his personal best, he is running extremely well with his sights on a state championship.” Coach Mandy Godbee.
Michael was also a member of the 4x100m relay that ran a season best time of 43.05 and placed 3rd.
The boys' team finished third to Carrollton High School with 150 pts, Woodward Academy 76 pts and Vidalia High with 69.5pts. As a team these young men are competing with the best in the state and getting priceless recognition from other programs across the state.
