Graveside services for Ms. Myrtle Louise Gross Gay of Lyons will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 3 PM in the Pinecrest Cemetery in Vidalia.  Reverend Efton Green will officiate.  Ms. Gay died Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Meadows Park Health/Rehab.

Ms. Gay, 87, was the daughter of the late Gerard & Gladys Beckham Gross.  She was born in Toombs County on November 9, 1933 and was a lifelong resident.  She graduated from Vidalia High School, “Class of 1952”, was a housewife and homemaker and was a member of the Marietta Freewill Baptist Church.  Her husband of 49 years, Milton Autrey Gay; brother, Ned Gross and sister, Betty Collins, all preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter, Kim (Jarahn) Collins of Lyons; two grandchildren, Albert Jared Collins and Kayla C. (Jake M.) Dyal, all of Lyons; two great grandchildren, Jasper & Jacus Dyal and one sister, Nedine Davidson of Vidalia.

The family will receive friends at the cemetery beginning at 2:30 PM.
