Graveside services for Mr. Harvey Lee West of Glenwood will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery in Hazlehurst, GA.

His son, Dewayne West, will officiate.  Mr. West died Monday, November 30, 2020 at  Glenwood Health Care in Glenwood, GA.

Mr. West, 65, was the son of the late Grady & Alice Lee Johnson West.  He was born in Vidalia, GA, was a retired logger and a Christian by Faith.  His four brothers, Grady Clayton (Bud) West, James Arthur (Bobo) West, Roy Curtis West and Alvis (Boss) West, all preceded him in death.

Survivors include his two sons, Dewayne (Lara) West of Adrian and Michael (Shelena) West of Soperton; daughter, Melinda West of Glenwood; brother, Ray (Charlotte) West of Glenwood; two sisters, Mary Alice (Ellis Ray) Harrison and Kate Poole , both of Mississippi and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday night from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.

Higgs Funeral Home of Soperton has charge of arrangements.
