Toombs County High School is pleased to announce their 2020 Graduation Rate of 95.1%. This rate is the highest in school history, and it exceeds the 2020 Graduation Rate for Georgia of 83.8% for the fourth consecutive year. Toombs County Schools Superintendent, Barry Waller says, “Our Graduation Rate of 95.1% serves as validation to all of the countless hours that both our staff and students put in to reach the ultimate goal of a high school diploma and the post-secondary option of their choice. We will continue to strive to reach a 100% graduation rate, but will celebrate this accomplishment with our students, staff, parents and community!”

The increase in the graduation rate is a testament to the upward trend in the percentage of students graduating on time. A high school diploma is paramount for obtaining a job, entering the military, attending technical college, or attending a college or university after high school. Toombs County High School will continue to work toward our ultimate goal of ensuring ALL students graduate!”
