Wilcox County began to take control of the contest answering the score in less than a minute on a long touchdown pass to Jashon Cooley to take a 12-7 lead with 6:50 left in the first quarter.  The Patriots extended their lead with two more touchdown runs, a touchdown pass,  and a scoop and score on a bad punt snap to take a 42-7 lead into halftime.

The Patriots added another touchdown on a two yard run with 3:58 left in the third quarter to extend the lead to 49 – 7.  The Vikings managed to get on the board once more with 10:15 left in the game when Quentez Jordan hit Tim Blair on a 55 yard touchdown pass.  Danny Clements hit the PAT to make the score 49 – 14.  Wilcox added another late score to make the final 56-14.
