Mr. James Tillman Lawrence, age 74 of Dublin passed away on Wednesday morning, October 21, 2020 at the Shamrock Health and Rehabilitation Center in Dublin.

Born in Tarrytown, he was the last living of three children born to the late Woodrow W. and Allie Lee Haggard Lawrence.  He grew up in Soperton and attended school in Treutlen County.  For the past twenty years Mr. Lawrence has made the Dublin area his home.  Since moving to Dublin, he became regularly recognized riding his bike from place to place and making his daily visits to area businesses to include Maryland’s Fried Chicken.

Mr. Lawrence attended the First United Methodist Church of Dublin where he was a member of the Second Door Sunday School Class.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Monroe and Mary Ruth Lawrence.

He leaves behind many extended family members and his adopted family; the members of the First United Methodist Church of Dublin.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 23, 2020 from the graveside in Harmony Baptist Cemetery, Soperton, Georgia with Reverend Bob Williams officiating.  Mr. Lawrence will be laid to rest with his family. 

Friends and family are invited to visit at the graveside.
