The three local public school systems released their latest COVID-19 figures on Friday. Per their report, the numbers as of September 25 are:

VIDALIA CITY SCHOOL SYSTEM: 1 student positive; 37 students quarantined; 3 employees positive; and 6 employees quarantined.

TOOMBS COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM: 1 student positive; 11 students quarantined; 11 employees positive; and 7 employees quarantined;

MONTGOMERY COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM: 0 students positive; 11 students quarantined; 0 teachers positive; 1 staff member positive; 11 students quarantined; and 3 staff members quarantined. 

The public school systems release their current numbers each Friday.
