September 22-- Here is a press release from Vidalia High School: Welcome, Vidalia Indian Fans! We are excited that football season has finally arrived and look forward to seeing what the 2020 edition of the Indians can accomplish under new Head Coach Jason Cameron. The young men of Vidalia High School have been working hard and have weathered a couple of storms due to the current pandemic, but are ready for this season. Keeping this in mind, we are asking fans to follow some simple guidelines and recommendations so our team can complete this season without any further delay or operation. COVID-19 Guidelines

Our priority is the welfare of our students, staff, and fans. We ask that you adhere to the following procedures and guidelines during the contest.

• Wearing a mask or facial covering is strongly recommended.
• Please practice social distancing while on school premises.
• No fans will be allowed into the playing area before, during or after the game.
• Hand sanitizer stations have been placed throughout the stadium to allow for frequent hand sanitation.

Tickets

To avoid lines at the game and eliminate contact from the exchange of money, we offer an opportunity to pre-purchase your tickets online. You can do so by going to our ticketing site https://vidaliaathletics.com/event-tickets 

Seating

• Stands will have tape over sections where sitting is not permitted, allowing family groups to sit together and to be socially distant from others.
• The New Student Section will be located in the HOME Stands nearest the scoreboard end zone.

Concessions

• Concession Stands will be open and operated by the “Sound Tribe” Band. There will be a specific entry located on the side of the Home Concession Stand nearest the Home Bleachers. We ask that you practice mask-wearing and social distancing while in line, which will allow us to serve you better.

Live Stream

• In the event that you cannot or choose not to attend the game, the Athletic Department has made it possible to view this year’s home games in real-time via Box Cast and our new athletic website www.vidaliaathletics.com. There will be a fee of $10 per game, which gives you the rights to view the game on two separate devices, which include smart TVs, computers, tablets, or your phone. 

We hope that with your help and by following these simple rules, it will enable the Indian Football Team, Band and Cheerleaders to complete this 2020 season.
