The VHA Eagles had their third game of the season last Friday night. The Eagles won the toss and sent their offense out to the field. The Eagles took the ball down the field for a quick 6 on a run by Jackson Williamson. The VHA football team's defense showed up as well only allowing the Covington Bulldogs to have only 120 yards of offense. Heritage continued to show their dominance in the first half shutting out the Bulldogs and putting up 34 points on them.

Head Coach Seth Sitzman had this to say about his team, “This was a big Region win for us. We worked hard for this win and it will be a great confidence booster for us going into this week against Covenant, who has a great football team”

Senior Jackson Williamson had a night he will not forget scoring 5 touchdowns!  Freshman Ledger Curl also had a big night as he had over 70 hard rushing yards.

The Eagles will try to keep their winning streak on a roll this week as they host the Covenant Rams of Macon. Kickoff will be at 7:30 at Charles Wood Field.(Courtesy of Vidalia Heritage Academy)
