Mrs. Lesa Taylor Tidmore, age 57 of Lyons passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, August 13, 2020 at Community Hospice in Vidalia.

Born in Auburndale, Florida, she was one of three children and the only daughter born to the late Robert Lee Taylor and Elizabeth Edge Taylor.  As a young child the family moved with her father’s military career until settling in Vidalia and Wheeler County where they grew to call home.  She was a graduate of Wheeler County High School and received an Accounting Certificate from Heart of Georgia Technical College.  From 1980 until 2001 she lived in Soperton before moving to Lyons.  Lesa had worked at Woolrich in Soperton, P.L. Garments in Dublin and at Trane in Vidalia for the past 18 years. 

Lesa loved her family, taking care of other’s needs and above all; her church.  She had been a longtime member at Liberty Baptist Church in Lyons and a former member at Beulah Baptist Church in Glenwood.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Pamela Taylor.

She leaves behind, her husband, Vann “Bubba” Tidmore, Lyons, GA, two sons, Bradley Clinton “Brad” Clements (Lori), Soperton, GA, Brian Daniel Clements, Rentz, GA, her mother in law, Mary Ethel Tidmore, Lyons, GA, two brothers, James L. Taylor (Susan), Glenwood, GA, Joel Edge (Terry), Florence, SC, a brother in law, Tony Brannon (Tonya), Cedar Crossing, GA, seven grandchildren, Bradley Lane Clements, Danny Ray Clements, Laura Missouri Clements, Kristen Nicole Clements, Robert Levi Clements, Delilah Aurora Clements, Sophyra Avalon Clements, numerous nieces and nephews and her cat babies, Dusty and Sylvester.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, August 16, 2020 from the graveside in Tarrytown Cemetery with Reverend Michael Plowman officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be her husband, her sons and ushers from Liberty Baptist Church.

Her family will receive friends on Saturday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Sammons Funeral Home or friends may call at her residence in Lyons.
