August 12—The Vidalia Lady Indians fell to the 6-A South Effingham Lady Mustangs 5-3 Tuesday for the 2020 season home opener.
South Effingham scored two runs in the first inning to take the lead 2-0 and added three more. Vidalia came back with one run to make the score 5-1 in the fifth when the game was delayed for over an hour because of lightning. The Lady Indians added two runs in the bottom of inning.
Vidalia falls to 2-1 for the season and will face another 6-A opponent Wednesday when they travel to play the Effingham County Lady Rebels at 5:30PM.
