Vincent R. Drummer Funeral Home announces the death Mrs. Barbara Cobb age 74 of Vidalia, GA whose death occurred on Monday, August 3, 2020 from Miller County Hopsital in Colquitt, GA. Barbara Cobbs was born in Toombs County September 24, 1945 to the Late Lillie B. Jones and the Late Willie Burley.
She is survived by her stepmother Deaconess Calvannah, Burley of Lyons, GA; two sons, Dedrick Griffin (Nekita Spikes) of Vidalia, GA and Seantaybian Mitchell of Palm Beach, FL; one daughter Roshonda Mitchell of Sarasota, FL; 5 sisters Pervis Byrd, Louise Washington,Beatrice Bogle, Kathryn Hatten, and Mary Burley; 6 brothers Willie Burley, Jr., Henry Jones, Albert Burley, Johnny Burley, Habakkuk Burley, and Rev. Sammy Burley; her grandchildren Teniah D. Griffin, Amari Vann, Armani Polke, Alaye Griffin, Dedrick Najerick Griffin, Jr., Late Destiny A. Griffin, Ziahya D. Griffin, Asia Mobley, D’Anna J. Griffin, Dedrick Leron Griffin, Jr., Morgan D. Griffin, Jerney L. Griffin, Te’shonWatts, and Tevin Watts, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Public Visitation Friday, August 7, 2020 from 2PM until 7 PM at Vincent R. Drummer Funeral Home in Vidalia, GA.
Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 10AM from Jordan Stream Baptist Church Cemetery in Lyons, GA. Bishop Vincent R. Drummer will deliver the eulogy.
