August 5—The RTCA Lady Crusaders Softball team opened the 2020 season with a 10-2 loss on the road to the Edmund Burke Lady Spartans in Waynesboro. The Lady Spartans scored two runs in the bottom of the first inning with RTCA tying the game with two runs in the top of the second on a hit to right field by Meredith Durden (Below). Edmund Burke took the lead with one run in the bottom of the second and added two runs in the third and five more in the bottom of the fourth
