With the upcoming fall high school sports seasons approaching, Jacob Lord of Robert Toombs Christian Academy says their football, softball, basketball, and competition cheerleading teams are working hard to get ready.
“It’s been a good summer. We took a couple of weeks in June and got back into the weight room getting the guys and girls bodies back ready to perform. Then on July 6th we kicked back off full athletics on campus. We’ve been going full steam ahead and looking forward to our season,” said Lord.
Lord added, “Our athletes are excited to get back on the fields and the mats. Just three weeks away from our first event on campus which will be softball on August 6th.”
“We have procedures and policies in place along with a response plan to be proactive at prevention. The biggest things is that we are preparing for seasons and preparing for athletics. We will have options for online viewing for fans of all the RTCA sports teams and those links are available on our school website and our social media sites, Twitter and Instagram also,” said Lord.
