July 17— Montgomery County High School announced plans for a Montgomery County High School Athletic Hall of Fame. The first class of the Hall of Fame will be announced soon and recognized at an upcoming home football this season.
“We are extremely excited to have the Montgomery County High School Athletic Hall of Fame. This is one thing when I took the Athletic Director’s job to see through. It is a chance for us to recognize and honor some individuals and teams in our rich history that have had great success. We formed our Hall of Fame committee and had our first meeting and adopted by-laws and how we are going to operate. We named our first three individuals to be named to the Hall of Fame and we will announce who they are soon and recognize them before a home football game that we are going to call the Hall of Fame Game.” Athletic Director Tim Suttles said.
