Congratulations to RTCA Alumna Hannah Kenne, Class of 2019, for making the NJCCA 2019-2020 All-Academic Third Team! South Georgia State College student-athletes and three SGSC teams earned All-Academic Awards from the NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association). Twenty-eight individual SGSC Hawks earned at least a 3.6 GPA during the past academic year (2019-20). Hannah was the kicker for the RTCA football team for 3 years and also played soccer for 4 years at RTCA. While at RTCA, Hannah signed with South Georgia State College and is pursuing a degree in Physical Therapy. Hannah plans to graduate from SGSC in May 2021 and would like to continue playing Soccer at a 4-year college while pursuing her degree after graduation. Congratulations Hannah!
Congratulations to RTCA Alumnus Torrey Patterson, Class of 2018, for making the Dean's List during the spring semester! Torrey participated in football, basketball, and track at RTCA. While at RTCA, he signed with Mesabi Range College in Virginia, Minnesota to play football. Torrey will graduate with an associate's degree in August and is being pursued by a few 4-year colleges to continue playing football. Torrey is planning on pursuing a career as an athletic trainer and will make his decision about which college to sign with very soon! We are so proud of Torrey and cannot wait to see what his future holds!
