Southeastern Technical College has issued the following press release regarding the return of students to classes for fall semester.
July 9, 2020 – Southeastern Technical College welcomes students for face-to-face classes Fall semester. “Our faculty and staff have done an amazing job providing on-line classes and services for Summer Semester. We will resume face-to-face classes on August 17,” stated Southeastern Tech President Larry Calhoun. The College will continue to follow CDC and Georgia Department of Public Health guidelines to ensure the safety and health of students.
The College will continue to waive application fees through the summer. Apply today to have your application fee waived!
The requirement of a placement exam has been suspended and Southeastern Tech will evaluate program readiness in a number of different ways to ensure student success.
All Southeastern Technical College programs are HOPE eligible. However, Southeastern Tech has 56 diplomas and certificates of credit that qualify for the HOPE Career Grant including Welding, Practical Nursing, and Automotive Technology. Students enrolled in these programs could qualify for additional funds to help pay for college.
