Paige Williamson, Director of Toombs Family Connection has announced that the Back To School Bash that had been planned at Southeastern Technical College has been cancelled.

"After speaking with school and community leaders over the last couple of days, we have made the decision to cancel the Back to School Bash at STC this year. In light of the growing numbers of COVID-19 cases, we do not feel comfortable bringing so many families together right before the school year begins. We are certainly open to organizing a drive-thru event at a later time but we'll need the community to help us do that. I will be back in touch mid-July to let you know what we can do and how we can best support students as they return to school and to a very different 'new normal.' Thank you for your understanding and for your continued support of children and families in Toombs County" said Williamson.
