The following is a joint statement from the Montgomery County, Treutlen County, Toombs County, and Vidalia City School Systems

The four school systems that joined to form the Southeast Early College and Career Academy in 2010 are planning to return to school in the fall. The Montgomery County, Treutlen County, Toombs County, and Vidalia City School systems are in the process of making plans to reopen schools in the safest manner possible. Each school system is working on strategies that will be released soon, following the Georgia Department of Education's upcoming guidance. The school systems will be sharing these plans with each community later in the month. Please continue to monitor communications and school system social media outlets for additional information.
