June 16-- Ms. Ada Pearl Pruett, aged 101, passed away quietly on June 18, 2020.

She was born on April 26, 1919 in Johnson County, Georgia to Mr. and Mrs. Grover Watkins.

She was one of five children. Ms. Pruett spent most of her childhood in the Covena and

Norristown communities. She was married to Dennis Algerine Moore and they had two children.

After Mr. Moore was killed in action in WWII, she then raised her son and daughter in Macon, GA.  She worked at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, GA. She would often tell her great-grandchildren fond stories of her time at the base.

Later in her life, she married Alton "Red" Pruett, who preceded her in death in 1991.

Ms. Pruett spend the later years of her life in Adrian, GA and then in Norristown, GA.

You usually could find her in her garden or tending to her chickens. She enjoyed reading, listening to classic country music, and being surrounded by her family.

Ms. Ada Pruett is survived by her son, Dennis Moore (Martha), her daughter Arlethea Howell (Gene), beloved sister-in-law, Mrs. Susie Watkins, four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The family is especially grateful to her grandson, Reid, and his wife, Angela, for the years of loving care given to "MaMa".

Due to COVlD-19, there will be a private graveside service for the immediate family.
