June 15—The VHS Indians Baseball team was back at work conditioning last week under guidelines set by the GHSA.

“It was great to see the guys. Coach Carter and I have two groups going and the biggest thing is getting them back in the weight room, they lost about three months of lifting. We did some drills, stretching and running. It would be great if we could get together and play a few games but we will see what the GHSA says. It was just great to get them going again.” Coach Brent Korn said.

“We had four guys at Perfect Game in Emerson that played games up there and they played well. Jordan Walden, Ty Dalley, Bryson Whited and Caden Spivey. Caden popped 90 mph on the radar gun a couple of times and that is going to open up some opportunities for him. It is a great thing for those guys to be able to play and we are looking forward to getting them going with us again.” Korn said.
