Mr. Carlton L. Bridges, 86, of Oak Park, GA passed away Friday, June 5, 2020 at Community Hospice in Vidalia, GA.  He was born December 28, 1933 in Wheeler County, GA to the late Ellie F. and Mattie Lavender Bridges. Mr. Bridges retired from the United States Air Force after 23 years of service.  He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Vidalia, GA.

Mr. Bridges is survived by one daughter: Susan C. Bridges; two sons: Steven C. Bridges (Patty) and John David Bridges (Shannon); seven grandchildren: Michelle Strickland, Johnny Bridges, Tyler Bridges, Courtney Bridges, Kaleigh Bridges, Ryan Bridges, and Kathryn Bridges; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Smith Bridges.

Graveside service for Mr. Bridges will be held 11:00 A.M.  Monday, June 8, 2020 at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Vidalia, GA.
