Ms. Ruby Dell Lumley, age 77, of Nunez, died Monday, May 25, 2020, in Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, after an extended illness. She was a native of Oak Park, later living in Vidalia, Alamo, Panama City, Florida, the Atlanta area most of her life and in Nunez for several years. She was a homemaker and a home health aide. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Dennis Marchman; parents, Benjamin Dell Lumley and Pauline Faircloth Lumley; two sisters, Dorothy Lumley Coe and Glenda Lumley McGuire; and one brother, Royce Lumley.
Ms. Lumley is survived by one daughter, Debbie Marchman Pigg and husband David of Acworth; one son, Jimmy Marchman of Lawrenceville; three sisters, Mary Jane Kirby of Nunez, Mildred Dubrow and husband David of Norcross, and Katie Sprowson and husband Nelson of Vidalia; one brother, Arnold Lumley and wife Amelia of Vidalia; five grandchildren, Bobby Bradford and wife Christina of Sparta, Tennessee, Chris Bradford of Villa Rica, Robert Marchman of Swainsboro, Valerie Priest and husband Josh of Dallas, Georgia, and Eric Marchman of Rome; two great-grandchildren, Nixon Marchman and Sierra Marchman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, May 30th, at 1:00 p.m. in Pendleton Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Hershel Clements officiating.
