March 13--  The following was released by the Treutlen County School System.

Monday and Tuesday, March 16th and March 17th are scheduled student holidays for Treutlen County Schools.  The school district will reassess the COVID-19 concerns prior to students returning and make the necessary announcement for any possible closures.

All Treutlen Middle/High athletic events have been suspended effective immediately until March 27th. Treutlen County Schools will work with local/state agencies to reassess health risks and make an informed decision. All TMHS practices/tryouts have been suspended until March 20th. More information will be provided at that time. Thanks for your cooperation and support as we work to ensure that our students are safe both on and off-campus.
