March 13—The Vidalia Indians held on to beat the Swainsboro Tigers 6-4 at Greg James Field Thursday and improve to 4-0 in Region 2AA. The Indians scored one run in the third to tie the game at 1-1, took the lead with five runs in the fifth and added one run in the bottom of the sixth inning. Swainsboro came back with two runs in the sixth and one run in the top of the seventh. Pitcher Kevin Cox gets the win and Landry Mead picks up the save for the Indians.
