March 12-- This week three Toombs County Lady Bulldogs signed letters of intent for scholarships to play soccer at the next level. Ashley Venegas is headed to Mt. Vernon to play for the Lady Barons of Brewton-Parker College. Brooke Coxwell and Jacky Balderas are going to play for Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton.
Toombs County Head Soccer Coach Jeremy Moore said, “It is an exciting day for the program as a whole. To have these three girls from the same class sign scholarships to go and play soccer and continue their education from a school this size is special. This is a testament to their hard work and dedication both on the field and in the classroom.”
