Vidalia Heritage Eagles are new to Varsity Baseball with 2019 being there first year of competing. The Eagles first year they competed in very tight games but never came out on top. However, the Eagles went to work in the off season and worked to get better. The Eagles matched up against The Wheeler County Bulldogs this past Saturday and competed in a 9 inning game. The Eagles jumped ahead early in the 3rd inning earning 3 runs. The Eagles had some great help with Mason Beacham on the mound. Beacham threw a complete 9 inning game throwing 107 pitches and holding the Bulldogs to only 3 runs in the game. Head Coach Seth SItzman says "It was fun to watch these kids come to life and start swinging the bats and gaining confidence. It is fun to be a part of this growing program and School". The Eagles Won Saturday with a final score of 17 to 3.
