March 10-- Taylor Corsa and Maria Riera were selected for the girls AA All-State team. Both girls lead the team in scoring, rebounds, and assists. Maria, a senior, averaged 20 points per game, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Taylor, a senior, averaged 14 points per game, 8 rebounds and 3 assists. Taylor and Maria both were selected to play in the All-Star game as well. Both girls plan on attending Lagrange College to play basketball next season.

MK McBride and Justin Walker were selected for the boys AA All-State team. MK, a sophomore, averaged 26 points per game with 8 rebounds. MK also scored 46 points in the Final Four. Justin, a junior, averaged 22 points per game with 6 assists. Justin also scored 39 points in the Elite Eight, 8 of which being 3’s. Both were chose for the All-State selection for AA GISA, as there are only 15 spots available. Coach Callaway says “Both kids are very good players and are very good players and deserved this award.
