February 27—The RTCA Crusaders ended the season with a 77-72 loss to the Furtah Prep Falcons in the semi-finals of the GISA Class AA State Basketball Playoffs Thursday at Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus. RTCA trailed 23-13 at the end of the first quarter, 45-31 at the half. The Crusaders fought back and trailed 59-55 after the third quarter and cut the Falcons lead to just two points in the second half but the Falcons pulled away down the stretch.

MK McBride led the way for the Crusaders in scoring with 46 points in the game an RTCA single game record. RTCA ends the season at 22-4.It was a great season for the Crusaders who won the Region 2AA Championship.
