Feb 26--Mr. Blake Peters, age 38, of Breckinridge, Colorado, died Wednesday, February 19, 2020. He was born on August 19, 1981 in Savannah, lived in Vidalia for eighteen years and would often return to visit frequently. He lived in fourteen years in Colorado, including Breckenridge, Denver and Silverthorne. He was a 2000 graduate of Capital High School in Charleston, West Virginia. Blake was very outgoing and humorous; loved his family, the mountains of Colorado, music, music festivals, concerts, and spending time with his best friend, Kimba. Blake was a self-proclaimed entrepreneur with a special set of professional negotiating skills. He was preceded in death by his Father, Rodney Brent Peters in 2019; maternal grandparents, John Thomas "Foots" Hadden and Josephine Lash Hadden; and paternal grandparents, Roy Bernard Peters and Virginia Morris Peters.
Blake is survived by his mother, Reba Hadden Peters of Vidalia; three sisters, Lash Peters Clemens and husband Joel of Vidalia, Brooke Peters Kemp and husband Richard of the Mt. Moriah Community, and Malorie Peters Harvill and husband Bryan of the Center Community; and two brothers, Ross Brandon Peters and Cody Hadden Peters, both of Vidalia;
two nephews, Joseph Micah Harvill and Sawyer Athens Harvill;
two nieces, Raegan Hayes Harvill and Aubryen Lash Clemens; special companion, Kimba-Kay; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held Friday February 28th, at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend David Blalock officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 until just prior to the service.
Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home of Vidalia is in charge of arrangements.
