February 26—The VHS Lady Indians dream season came to an end at home Tuesday night with a 62-57 loss to the Rockmart Lady Yellow Jackets in the Quarterfinals of the AA State Basketball Playoffs. The Lady Indians got off to a slow start and trailed 9-4 at the end of the first quarter, trailed 19-14 at halftime. Vidalia fought back in the second half to cut the Rockmart lead to just three points twice. The Lady Yellow Jackets outscored the Lady Indians 27-17 in the third quarter and led 46-31at the end of the period.

Dresden Clark had 24 points and Treyunna Roundtree scored 14 points for Vidalia. The Lady Indians end the season at 24-5.(Picture by Mike Branch)
