February 24--  The Toombs County Boosters received a generous donation from Paul Thigpen Automotive Group last week.  Jeremy Newell Marketing Director for Paul Thigpen Automotive Group  presented the check to Athletic Director Bill Benton, Booster Club President Jay Mosley and the baseball team before the Toombs vs Telfair baseball game Saturday.  Paul Thigpen Automotive Group is a proud supporter of local high schools and other organizations in the area.  

Athletic Director Bill Benton had this to say about Paul Thigpen Automotive and the donation.  "The generosity of Paul Thigpen, his company and folks like Jeremy Newell just humbles me.  Words can't adequately express how thankful we are for their partnership with us and how much it means to our student athletes and our club.  Their dedication to the youth of our community and our community as a whole is unbelievable!  They not only support local schools, but every time I look up, they are sponsoring something.  Just the other day, I went to the Teen Maze, and they were there sponsoring and working. Their partnership with us along with other sponsors, makes it possible for us to support our student athletes by equipping them with the best equipment available.  We are able to feed our athletes and make sure each and every athlete is taken care of.  Their donation touches every athlete in our system, whether they are in the band, football, baseball all the way to one act play.  We are fortunate to have Paul Thigpen Automotive partner with us!"
