February 22—The Treutlen Vikings rolled over the Warren County Screaming Devils 88-69 Friday night at home in the second round of the GHSA Class A State Basketball Playoffs. The Vikings led 26-11 after the first quarter, 44-29 at the half and 67-45 after the third period.

Four Vikings in double figures in scoring, James Byrd 17 points, KaSabian Mitchell 16 points, Terry Cartavias had 14 points and PJ Smiley with 12 points.

The Vikings are undefeated at 28-0 and will host Lincoln County next Tuesday at 6PM in the Elite 8. (Picture by Mike Branch)
