February 15—In the first round of the GHSA AA State Basketball Playoffs the Vidalia Indians season came to an end with a heartbreaking loss at home to the Butler Bulldogs 60-56.

The game went back and forth but it all came down to free throws. The Bulldogs made 13 of 14 free throws down the stretch and were 21 of 27 from the stripe in the game while the Indians were just 8 of 19 for the game.

Adam McCloud led the way in scoring for the Indians with 21 points including six three-pointers. Ty Dalley had 12 points.
